Why are Vietnamese workers hired a lot in Europe?

There have been more and more skilled Vietnamese workers in Europe in recent years. This is because local workers migrated to more developed nations in Europe for a much higher salary. Many workers from Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovakia have migrated to France, the UK, Germany and Austria for better well-paid jobs. Therefore, there are huge vacancies for manual jobs in those countries such as construction workers, agriculture workers, and factory workers. As a result, European employers have been looking for non-EU workers – Vietnamese workers.

Here are reasons why:

Vietnam is a country with a young population (68.5% of the population is of working age and 23% of the population is under 15 years old). The young people are hardworking, willing to learn and willing to perform. Optimism is their attitude to life and openness to technology predominates.

The young and highly motivated Vietnamese are also a highly interesting target group for the recruitment of foreign trainees and skilled workers. With the motto “A bowl of sweat, a bowl of rice”, which is widespread in Vietnam, they are exactly the immigration that European employers need now.

Vietnamese workers are hard-working. They love working overtime a lot, because they can make more money and save more money for their family. Most Vietnamese workers are happy to work up to 12 hours per day, some even can work up to 14 hours per day.

Vietnamese learn fast. Yes, most employers say that Vietnamese workers are one of the fastest-learning workers. Some need a few weeks to adapt, some need 1 month or maximum 2 months to learn at first. European recruiters are always happy with that speed of learning and adapting.
